Kim Crenshaw – Executive DirectorKim Crenshaw – Executive Director

Kim began her career in working with Seniors as a Geriatric Mental Health Therapist and eventually transitioned into Senior Living. She comes to Prairie House with more than 22 years of experience in health care and senior living. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Oklahoma and an M.A. in psychology from the University of Arizona.

Prairie House addresses an unmet need in the neighborhood, providing the residential amenities seniors want today. “It is an honor to head up this beautiful new community for so many reasons—not the least of which is its immediate access to exceptional medical attention at the hospital if needed,” says Crenshaw.

Family is important to Kim. She has three children—ranging in age from 15 to 20—and she was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Cub Scout Den Leader for years. It’s not surprising she identifies with the sense of family, community, and belonging that’s a hallmark of Prairie House.
